If it wasn't for the forced waggle controls, I'd vote for DKCR. Sly 1 was good, but not great. (Sly 2 was amazing.)

I refuse to play Minecraft. Not my thing. But it's legacy is unavoidable. It got my vote for that reason. Plus Yooka-Laylee was a disappointment.

BiS is perhaps the third best RPG in the Mario series, behind the SNES original and TTYD. Wolfenstein 3D is important to gaming history, but there are other shooters more important. The original Mortal Kombat was really wonky. It began a great series and had a few good ideas, but the execution was off. I'm a sucker for Namco's classics, so DigDug gets the nudge from me here.

I love Warped, but going against Pac-Man? That's just not fair. Pac-Man was the granddaddy of all character-based games.

I loved the Simpsons Arcade, but it's no contest. Tropical Freeze is on another level entirely.
