BG2 is still my favourite RPG. I haven't played the unrelated sequel, but GOTY awards be damned. It can't surpass the originals.

Both are great games, but Life is Strange stayed with me for longer afterwards. It gets my vote for that.

If it was against ToTK, I would've went with Undertale for originality. But BotW brought the series in a great new direction.

I couldn't get into Metroid Prime, but Uncharted 2 had some wonderful setpieces. Granted, I can't play first-person games without getting dizzy, so there's that.

RIP Ms Pac-Man. Pac-Mom can never replace you.

Epic Yarn is my favourite Kirby game. So adorable, and if going for highscores, can actually get kind of difficult. Love that game too much.

3D World is my personal favourite 3D Mario. I couldn't get into OoT. Easy vote for 3D World for me here.

MTPO is one of my favourite video games of all time. I couldn't get into MGS. I expect Tyson to bite it here, but it deserves to come out swinging.

The thing is, a mediocre Mario game is still a good game. The bar there is just that high. I'm sure it'll eventually fall in this contest, though. I'm just not a Dragon Quest guy.

One of the best RPGs ever is certainly an easy vote against like the 4th or 5th best Mario-based RPG. And I'm a huge fan of the Mario RPGs! (Still shocked the best two got or are getting Switch remakes.) Agreed! IMO Thousand Year Door > SMRPG > some of the Mario & Luigi games > Paper Mario 64. ...
