Re: Nintendo Switch Master List

Back at VCF I was turned off by mater lists, not because I thought they were pointless or ddin't offer any usefulness, but because it looked that we had way too many of them. Now that their numbers aren't so overwhelming, I think I might start contributing again. + The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the...

Re: BATTLETECH

More footage and information. I like the comparison to XCOM. XCOM is good. http://ca.ign.com/articles/2017/11/15/battletech-preview-xcom-style-management-with-heavy-mech-combat Here's the complete footage of that mission: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIGmwTcR2Q8 I think I'm going to bust out the...

I can see that if you're heavy handed you might worry for your screen. But faster with buttons? Ok, you're obviously used to it, but maybe you didn't notice that tools selection is on both pad and buttons?

Re: Metroid: Samus Returns

Pre-ordered as soon as I could and already the Legacy edition was sold out. The amiibo couldn't be pre-ordered, so I'm planning to buy the Metroid one on Friday.
I'm obviously very happy to be playing a new Metroid and that's a 2D one.

Re: Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game

I might, since there are some aspect of the Star Wars universe that make for really interesting mechanics in an RPG, in my opinion. I also bought the universally panned Battletech RPG, so I can be persuaded easily...but not at the current suggested price. If I will be able to find it at less than 30...

Re: Happy Birthday!

It was fun, but the combination of quiet atmospehre, beautiful and evoking location, mellow people, relaxing DJ set and spectacular weather (hot but with a gentle wind blowing through the stairways and the narrow streets of the city), made it a very special experience.

Re: Happy Birthday!

Thanks guys.
I was in Perugia, a beautiful medieval city, for a concert at a horror movies day/fest.
We played in the foyer of the cinema with a poster of Killer BOB on the wall behind and one of Laura in the black lodge in front of us : D

Re: Nintendo Switch

The pro controller D pad is disappointing me at the moment. I need to agree on this one. i would say that it doesn't feel "fast" enough, it requires extra effort to push the correct direction. I did use it with the Puyo Puyo Tetris demo and needed to go back to the joy-con button version ...
