Dragon Quest Walk

Square Enix is throwing its helm into the AR location services mobile ring with Dragon Quest Walk.

It's unclear whether this is going to be a catch & collect type game or whether it'll focus on more traditional player advancement from fighting AR monsters. It's very clear that Square Enix has a lot of great, compelling monster designs to leverage for this game either way. I'd love to collect some slimes.

It's entering beta in Japan, and presumably we'll get more news about a potential global post-beta launch later.

Well this'll shave a few pounds off of Jen and I. I wonder if it'll keep me interested (Pokémon Go lasted 2 months for me, Jen is still going at it).
