Defense Grid 2

Post by Kong Wen »

I know some of you enjoyed the original Defense Grid on XBLA (one of the better Tower Defense games out there). They apparently crowdsourced over $1M for a sequel, which is coming to X1, PC, and PS4 sometime soon. The PS Blog recently posted some new coverage, and the game is looking fantastic!

This was an absolutely outstanding TD game. I never beat it, thanks to the usual culprit - distraction, but I'd happily pick up the sequel (on sale).

Look at how gorgeous that current-gen HD nonsense is.

It looks appropriately bananas, considering how intense this game is. It's one relentless SOB. It's a rare TD game that really does require serious strategy and resource management. Not much room to breathe.
