Kind of thought we might get something like this. Nintendo typically doesn't make a big deal of Pokemon at e3, so it makes sense to cover some info beforehand and then just demo it at e3.

Xenoblade: Awesome i never got around to finishing it on 3ds
Animal Crossing: Thanks for showing nothing new
Snes: Finally ❤️
Pokemon: Curry? Also the water birb looks cool.
Average direct. Didn't have high expectations though so not disappointed.

Not sure what to expect next year as animal crossing is basically the only game all year so far. Makes me think zelda has to be next year. Otherwise pikmin 4 or a new donkey Kong has to come maybe pokemon let's go johto? Bayoneta has to be next year as well. Metroid prime trilogy surely for a 2021 prime 4. Still a lot is unknown.

Yeah I mean it wasn't until February of this year that we found out about Super Mario Maker 2, Astral Chain and Link's Awakening HD, (arguably Pokemon as well) on top of other surprise stuff like Witcher 3, Dragon Quest XI, Little Town Story, ect.

We have Tokyo Mirage Sessions in January, Animal Crossing in March, maybe a little game in between. Jan/Feb next year we'll find out what they plan for 2020.
