I finally finished the single player campaign the other day. I really think it's quite under appreciated. I wrote a review of it if anyone wants to take a look:

Speed running it's pretty fun. I think I might start trying to speed run it again with the world 4 skip though as it keeps ruining my runs

Well for Americas first sponsored splatfest it's sounds awesome.
At least it's better than Japans Kirin iced tea splatfest. Thou at least the Maruchan Noodles at least had creative team names(Red Kitsune & Green Tanuki.
I wonder what the first PAL region sponsored splatfest going to be?

I really love the fundamental mechanics to Splatoon, they're just really solid which is why I think the single player mode is fun. I wish they could have expanded their ideas even further because it's just so much fun to move around in those worlds. I agree with the music. The best music is in the multiplayer mode, but there was one real good song in the single player mode, plus the last boss was just amazing.

Transformers themed is pretty neat, I thought someone was pulling my lef at first :p Glad to see them try different promotions here though. I think I'll go with Decepticons.

Also, new stage is being added tonight: Flounder Heights. Just in time for for our session tonight I think!

EDIT: I'm also leaning towards 8pm for Splatoon tonight, I'll be around earlier though.
