Beaten:
1/8 - Flywrench (PSN)
1/13 - Batman: The Telltale Series (PSN)
1/15 - Windjammers (PSN)
1/29 - Panzer Dragoon (Saturn)
2/5 - Hey! Pikmin (3DS)
2/5 - Panzer Dragoon II Zwei (Saturn)
3/13 - Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap (PS4)

As a Master System owner, Dragon's Trap has long been on my to-do list. Fortunately, I waited long enough for it to get this fabulous remaster (and yet longer enough to get the very well-executed physical release). I adored this game. It took me only about 4 hours to beat (with the help of a guide), but not a moment of it was unappreciated. The remarkable thing to me is that they made almost no concessions with or changes this game, and it still plays wonderfully. This is the kind of remaster I wish all my favorite games could get. If Castlevania 1, for example, got a remaster of this quality, I'd pay untold amounts of money for it. And it's truly a remaster in the purest sense of the word. A fresh coat of paint graphically and an instrumental (as opposed to synthesized) soundtrack, both executed masterfully. I feel I'm rambling on this point, but it's really that good. Anyone with a vague interest in classic platformers (with metroidvania elements) would be remiss to pass on this one.

Completed:
1/13 - Batman: The Telltale Series (PSN)

Thanks buddy. Saved me the $3 it'll cost me over the next few months as it continually shows up. Inefune is not Mega Man. Never forget.

Picked SMB up back in January and I've been slowly cranking through it since. Nice to finally be done as it has been a bit of a nag in my backlog ;) I loved the presentation and the music, the controls never quite clicked with me. In terms of difficult single room platformers, I prefer Celeste. This was such a monumental indie game though so I'm glad I got to try it.

Driver: San Francisco - Fun enough concept and the missions were enjoyable but the fact it was quicker to travel in shift mode instead of driving meant I never got to fully explore the world also I beat the whole game easily without upgrades so upgrades felt very useless.

Renegade Ops - Some of these levels were far to long 25-30 minute levels also if the timer runs out (which you can't see until it's 3 minutes or less) you have to completely restart the level again. Other than that it's a fun little game can't really recommend it though. I think I got it in some bundle in 2011.

Super Meat Boy gave birth to Celeste, so it's good for you to show it the proper respect. :)

Golf Story started a little slow but it once it got going it was a great time. Not much to do in the main campaign now, but I might go back here and there for some casual golf play.
