MM6 knocked out! Really liked it. The rush augmentations are cool, and I think the crowd-sourced robot masters were a neat idea. Only MM8 remains for me to to have beaten all the numeral Classic entries that have come out as of 9/30. Will I be able to beat 8 before 11 comes out? Doubtful. But I might try!

And try I did, Kong! Managed to beat Dr. Wily this evening with time to spare before my copy of MM11 arrives. I've now beaten MM1-10, making me as qualified as ever to play MM11 with the full benefit of that retrospective. Can't wait!

Oh, and as for a quick review: MM8 is not great! It has moments of real fun, but it's bogged down by some really unpleasant bits. Plus, it is way less fun to play/control than the 8 bit entries (and maybe even a bit less than MM7). Glad to have it behind me, though.

Hollow Knight was just fantastic. I'm glad I waited until I had a good chunk of time to tackle this one. Beat it in 25 hours with 83% completion. Definitely not one I see myself completing. The end game optional boss rush stuff is a bit much for me.

On a whim, probably because of MM!!'s launch, I decided to go back and tackle Mega Man 4, which I don't think I ever beat before. I remember beating many of the bosses, but I don't think I ever did the whole thing. I beat this in two sittings—the majority last night, and then the boss rush and end boss sequence this afternoon while waiting for my lift to NB.

Super Meat Boy - One of the games I started and stopped over and over again for a few years and I finally finished it. Is a great game one of those classic indie games.

Okami is definitely a classic. Not quite as great as I remember, but still a very good game. Too easy though! I also think switch is a great way to play the game, I alternated between button, motion and touch controls. All worked quite well.
