Barry, in stark contrast to Edward's grace, fails to react whatsoever and takes a tiny shard of ceramic to the forehead. It causes the teensiest of cuts. Barry begins to bleed profusely. Quite horrorshow!

Barry -1 gum and now looks badass

Blood pours down Barry's forehead, he tries to shake it off but just succeeds in getting it in his eyes.

"I'M SEEING RED!"

Barry in a last ditch effort to prove himself as the alpha-male of the trio, and a badass, winds up with all his strength and slams his fist into the hutch in an attempt to break straight through. It may have shattered the lamp, but it won't shatter this!

Barry's having a rough day. He throws his full force into a punch you'd all swear could crack a damned planet. Unfortunately the blood in his eyes caused him to misjudge his distance and misses entirely. With nothing to cease his furious momentum, he twists around wildly and catches Oleg on the shoulder.

It's a glancing blow, but the force is enough to knock what's left of the lamp out of Oleg's hands. Edward stifles a chuckle and wonders if cooler heads will prevail.

A bang on the door. "Greasy rat does not wait for stupid mousey to take cheese. WHO IS RAT?"

[Kiwi the Tortoise]

Edward, now visibly angry walks determined towards the hutch to kick it in.... elegantly.

[Rolls an 8, kicks arse again ]

Edward's kick splits the heavy wood just left of centre, and the larger piece falls out with a flat slap on the floor. What remains of the hutch door swings open with a slow creak.

Without investigating, you can already see a few items: A flathead screwdriver, a fistful of quarters, a fresh pair of tube socks, a box of BB's, and a gigantic novelty lollipop.

Ooh, Hanna, Nora, and Zoe would love this! And it's big enough that they could share.

Oleg makes a grab at the giant lollipop, rolling a 1, [presumably] successfully hauling it out of the cabinet and stuffing it in his fanny-pack.

Oleg proudly stuffs the lolli in his fanny and looks up with an accomplished grin. He has done a good job. He is a good boy.

Edward tugs at his tux to see everything is in order and at the right place, steps up and grabs the tube socks to examine them.
