Voted both Frogger and Tomb Raider for the cultural importance of each. Though I did have a lot of fun with Frogger.

I'm not a fan of SimCity 2000's implicit supply-side politics, but it is a massively-entertaining government simulator. Wasted so many hours on that game, and had some real fun designing (and destroying!) thriving metropoleis.

Wow, really? No love for NFS3: Hot Pursuit?
It plays as really dated now, I agree. But some of the cars are really just plain fun. I really enjoyed running the Alfa Romeo Scighera, easily one of my favourite cars in any NFS game.

Sorry. There is only one right choice in this poll. If you don't know what it is, you deserve an aimed-shot Power Fist to the family jewels.
... Oh hey, Humphries90! Fancy seeing you here! Not to worry, you're fully pardoned from the Power Fisting.

Voted for Lemmings. Excellent early PC puzzle game.
Considered voting for Dragon's Crown just to be politically-incorrect, but ultimately decided agin' it.

Dragon Quest V (DS) You are a child, travelling the world with your dad in search of your missing mother. Throughout this quest, you grow up, get married and eventually travel with your own children. It's amazing how involving a story can be without lengthy exposition or much reliance on cutscenes....

Re: 2015 "BEST GAME EVER!!!" Nomination Thread
Great pick! Did you get a chance to play the recent reboot / sequelish thing on Steam? It's not strictly the same style of game, but they definitely had the SNES game in the backs of their minds when they were making it. No, but it's certainly on my list! Really want to get to it after Pillars of E...

Nominating: Crusader Kings II (PC): Can't tell you how many hours I've blown playing this game. Also, ridiculously fun to write fanfiction... oop, sorry, AARs for. Europa Universalis IV (PC): Worth it for collaborative gameplay and import options. Mount and Blade: Warband (PC): Wonderful sandbox gam...
