Re: What are you playing right now?
So, I grabbed and started the latest LiS game. It's pretty good but I'll reserve overall judgment until I'm done with it because, with that series, it's tough to know how good it'll be until it is finished. The others I have played have been really strong, though, so I'm optimistic. I did finally be...

Re: Backloggery
Are you sure it removes them from stats? Maybe that’s okay? Hyper-5 is ‘shelved’ in that I doubt I’ll replay it but it’s still in my PS4 list and in my shmup list. Also my total games count didn’t go down after I did that.

Re: Trophy Bragging Rights
Got number 70 in Hyper-5 - one of the many games on my Shmup list at BL. Was awesome if a bit on the easier side for the genre. Enjoyed it very much. Wasn't expecting to beat it when I did as I had tried the last level many times previously.

Re: What are you reading?
I finally (FINALLY) knocked out Giovanni Boccaccio's "The Decameron." Great book but not one of my top ten favorite short story compilations. Still loved it, though. Thoughts there: https://www.wheredreamsescape.com/post/the-decameron I think Imma read Druid of Shannara next...need somethi...

Re: What are you reading?
Wow, it's been a couple of months since I last finished a book, but I knocked out Tad Williams' fantastic "The Witchwood Crown." It is book one of his latest trilogy and a sequel to a well-loved trilogy originally published years ago. Excellent stuff. More thoughts here: https://www.whered...

Re: October Gaming - Be Very Afraid
I posted about this in tonecord but thought I'd note here as well that I never really played much Visage this month. It's quite disturbing, but, also, it's not a good time in my life to add extra stressors. Just trying to stay positive. That said I did try the insane run in Outlast 2 a few times thi...

Re: What are you playing right now?
I haven't been playing very much at all lately. Distractions... Anyway, I did start Grandia recently and it's lovely even if it is a bit clunky. The tone reminds of me of Skies of Arcadia, which is a good thing. I haven't gotten motion sickness yet, but I've just now started it! Visage ended up bein...

Re: October Gaming - Be Very Afraid
Fwiw I have made a tiny bit of Visage progress but I seldom play it. And I haven’t touched Fatal Frame 3 in many months…the setting where I’m at in that game is disturbing. But I’m in! I hope to beat Visage at some point in October or November. I seriously doubt I’m going to platinum it, though…
