Re: Windows 10

^Actually, looking around it appears Windows Media Player didn't support DVD playback in Windows 8 either. Only if you paid for the Windows Media Center(which you could only get with Pro) did you get DVD playback. So really the news about DVD playback being removed is redundant(at least if you're go...

Re: Windows 10

I'm not going to actually download Windows 10 because I don't have a re-usable disc copy(and I'm not going to buy one) in case I need to format the hard drive or something. But I have read that you will need separate software to enable DVD playback(which I assume means that DVDs won't play on Window...

Re: E3 Mega Thread 2015

One of the things that disappointed me in No Man's Sky, and I saw Spore post the same thing, is that in the underwater sections, it's just fish. That's not very alien. That's despite the fact that there's tons of strange looking underwater creatures to make variations on. I thought that was kind of ...

Re: Super Meat Boy coming to PS4/Vita in 2015

Oh they're finally getting around to putting this on Vita? That's cool. Super Meat Boy seems like a great game for handhelds. I won't be buying it, since I'm not interested in digital downloads taking up limited memory card space(if it was a physical release for Vita, like N+ was for PSP, which it w...

Re: E3 Mega Thread

Another thing going on at E3, and this I don't want to miss, is 3 days of Street Fighter V play! I don't know what to expect from the tournament, given almost none of the people involved have played SFV, but it should be entertaining. Schedule here: http://www.eventhubs.com/images/2015/jun/10/e3-sf5...

Re: E3 Mega Thread

I`ve heard rumours of that as well. I wonder though, is the substantial DLC strategy more effective than simply releasing Destiny 2? I'm pretty sure Destiny took a whole lot of money and time(over 4 years maybe) to develop. I doubt a big piece of DLC can even be compared. Seems like releasing a new...

Re: E3 Mega Thread

I now remember that Scalebound game which was announced last E3. I would hope to see gameplay for that. Platinum Games are also rumored to be showing something new, so I'm curious about that too. Hopefully it's not something by the Madworld/Anarchy Reigns team. Also, while it's going to be a bomb of...

Re: Football... of all sorts!

^That's pretty interesting. Australia has a curious relationship with American football, being the source of a decent amount of punters. There have been a handful of NFL games in London, but a college game in Australia is a new one. It says in the article that they're negotiating a multi-year contra...

Re: E3 Mega Thread

I don't plan on watching E3 conferences, but in cut-up Youtube video form I wouldn't mind seeing more of Street Fighter 5. Particularly I would like to see some new characters. So far they have shown Ryu, Chun Li, and M. Bison, which are all predictable and boring characters, and Charlie, who is als...

Re: Football... of all sorts!

How much of a deference does deflating the footballs really make? Hard to say. But past Quarterbacks like Mark Brunnel and Dan Marino have stated they think a deflated ball is an advantage because a deflated ball is easier to grip, especially in cold and rainy games where the ball would be harder t...
