Couldn't get into LISA, personally. I gave it a shot but it was a little too raw for me - which might be a good thing for some!
I committed to Fallout 2. Personally I think the original was more groundbreaking, but very much enjoyed 2 just the same.

Re: Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence
Subject: Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence Unfortunately, translated PS2 RTK games with PUK on Steam probably is a pipe dream. Speaking of pipe dreams, how come RTK IV got a release on eShop and PSN but there's no sign of II or III (my two faves in the series). If RTK II were ever released o...

Re: Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence
Real life has been keeping me from picking up this game - only had a few hours to play games here and there over the past few weeks, so I didn't want to dig into a new strategy game when I'm likely to have even less for the next month. That said I'm interested. Didn't play the PS2 Nobunaga games all...

Re: 2015 "BEST GAME EVER!!!" Nomination Thread
I was just thinking the same thing. I'm going to have to dig up my Wii collection and pop this in. But... I thought the music in FF12 was great! It fit the world. Sakimoto does a certain thing very well, so I'll be interested to see how the music in Opoona fits since it seems like a different kind ...

Re: 2015 "BEST GAME EVER!!!" Nomination Thread
Hadn't been around to check the forums in a while, so I haven't had the chance to catch up on this thread, but might read through and reply later on! I'll throw some in the mix for the time being: Suikoden II (PS1) : I've come to appreciate its sequels as much as this one (and really can't decide wh...

Re: SSI reincarnated!
The pitch seems interesting (RPG with some strategic-ish elements), but I'm not sure I'm convinced yet. I liked what I played of the Gold Box games back in the day (and enjoyed the original MMORPG Neverwinter Nights too), but I'm a little skeptical by default of the "team from 20 years ago come...

Re: Wasteland 2
Wasteland 2 is coming to PS4! I'm pretty excited about this news, as it's been sitting on my wishlist for some time, but I tend to prefer playing games on console when possible. Niahak or anyone else who played it on PC, can you shed any insight on how you think the controls will work & feel on...

Re: Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate
I picked this one up. I've only been able to play a couple hours so far, just unlocked the first Urgent Quest in single player. I've been playing mostly with the gunlance. It was one of my favorites in MH3U and still really fun in this one so far. I used to play hammer / GS, and having better block ...

Re: Dark Souls & Dark Souls II
Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin is coming to PS3 and PS4 on 7 April, 2014. It features all of the DLC content, enhanced matchmaking/online play, a higher max number of online players, new enemies, new NPCs, new in-game events and lore, some balancing tweaks, etc. Of course, the PS4 version ...
