If I get a vote, I strongly encourage you to read Camus' The Stranger. It's short and wonderful.VictorViper wrote: Next book: TBD, suggestions welcome

Re: What are you reading?
I'm a little more than halfway through my re-read of James Clavell's Whirlwind . Good stuff so far. But Clavell is consistently good so it's in line with what I've come to expect from him. His books are enormous though. I'm also a little more than halfway through Ben Bova's The Immortality Factor, w...

Re: Wii Game Collections
Although I don't have a Wii any more, I do still have some games for it since they've been lent to a friend who isn't local to me. If I get them back I'll sell them but in the meantime they are technically mine. So here are the ones that missed the mass selling: Dragon Quest: The Masked Queen and th...

Re: Games you keep playing...
Reminder folks: this is in the Mobile Gaming forum. Let's try to stick to mobile/phone game recommendations for now. My bad. In that case, I'd say Fighting Fantasy: The Warlock of Firetop Mountain is my main recurring go to. Fighting Fantasy: City of Thieves and Fighting Fantasy: Deathtrap Dungeon ...

Re: PS Store Deals & Sales
The list of PS Plus freebies for July is pretty solid: TowerFall Ascension (PS4) Strider (PS4) Dead Space 3 (PS3) Vessel (PS3) - I'm not sure what this is Muramasa Rebirth (Vita) Doki Doki Universe (Vita) I already have most of these, but I'm very happy to see Strider on the list, because I was ver...

Re: Games you keep playing...
I think the main one for me is Super Stardust. I haven't played it in a while due to how many other PSN/PS3 games I'm playing at the moment but I do think about it every time my PS3 is on. Good stuff. Lots to do and lots of room to improve scores and etc.

Re: How long do you play a boring game before abandoning it?
It's an irritatingly vague answer, but it depends. If I'm having fun I generally won't bail. If I determine I'm experiencing more irritation than fun I'll consider bailing unless it's a game that I really want to go through. I bailed on Gradius III after maybe five hours. Also on Might and Magic: Cl...
