Re: #BGE2020 - Round 1 - Pool 149

All I can tell you is that this pool is really weak and LttP is the only game that I've played that remotely merited three points. I'm not even that big a fan of Zelda.

Re: The 2019 "BEST GAME EVER!!!" Project Main Event FINALS

Well, now that one of the most overrated games of all time has finally won, maybe in future events we can start voting more games into the final rounds that are actually good.

Just noticed that KW already said the same thing in a less-butthurt way.

Re: Game of Thrones (contains serious, massive SPOILERS)

The argument for Bran's apparent 180 is that he was lying the whole time and everything that happened this season was a gambit for him to gain the crown. Which would make sense if you gave D&D credit for that sort of writing--which, again, I don't. One imagines that this entire last season or t...

Re: Game of Thrones (contains serious, massive SPOILERS)

Not sure what I can say to the idea of her character not killing innocent people other than people who bought into that self-perpetuated myth were duped by Dany's propagandizing and messianic self-positioning. All I'm going to say is that I think you're giving the showrunners way too much credit. T...

Re: Game of Thrones (contains serious, massive SPOILERS)

If she's not actually mad, then it doesn't work because what she did makes her look mad. If she's just trying to be hard, it would've made more sense to accept the surrender, destroy the Red Keep, then do nasty shit to anyone who looks at her the wrong way. Which is basically what she was already d...

Re: Game of Thrones (contains serious, massive SPOILERS)

Something simple they could've done to make Mad Queen Dany make a lot more sense is if instead of the Lannister army simply surrendering and Dany just deciding to kill everyone anyway, they'd had traps set a la the Sept of Baelor throughout the city (which would be one of the reasons why Cersei was...
