Re: TONe Forum Bonus Round 5: Best Pokémon Starter (Gen 6)

Of course I'm going to vote for Froggilingus, the most skilled starter Pokemon.

Re: Best Game Not Available on Any Digital Service (Round One)

Since this is my category, it would behoove me to actually discuss my votes this time. Poll 1 of 5 Buck Rogers: Countdown to Doomsday (1990, Genesis) Dark Wizard (1993, Sega CD) Felix the Cat (1992, NES) Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble (2000, GBC) Metal Storm (1991, NES) Shadowrun (1994, Genesis) Star Trek: S...

Re: Best Game You've Never Played (Ever) (Finals)

Planescape: Torment is the best game I've ever played, and the Best Game You've Never Played.

Re: Not Available on Digital Platforms pre-launch discussion

If those are all accurate, then none of them should be in the poll.

On the one hand, I intellectually understand your concern. On the other hand, hahaha Nintendo fanboys.

Re: Most Innovative Mechanics (Round Three)

As I said before, it was the first game to have decent online multiplayer, and it also made modding a thing that PC gamers came to expect support for. Wolfenstein wasn't even the first FPS, just the first popular one.

Re: Most Innovative Mechanics (Round Three)

The fact that Wolfenstein isn't in Poll 1?

Also, the fact that Doom is more innovative than Wolfenstein.

No self-respecting memelord would not vote for Mudkip in this poll.

Re: Best Game You’ve Never Played (Ever) (Round One)

Shit, I didn't even realize we had three votes, much less five. Edit: In retrospect, the only thing I really regret not voting for was Frog Fractions. I also would've voted for SMB3 and possibly Beyond Good & Evil. Most of these games I, well, simply haven't played. It's cute that someone nomina...

Re: Most Innovative Mechanics (Round Two)

Halo took advantage of the hardware available and did literally nothing new with it. It is the antithesis of this poll. Unreal Tournament for Dreamcast came several years prior, supported mouse and keys, had broadband connection and still would be out of place here. Supporting mouse and keys is why...
