I feel like if you sat someone who'd never played either mario game down, they'd prefer SMG2, but that's not necessarily what makes games great, so 64 is also a fair vote.

I've always preferred 2d over 3D also Rayman is close to a prefect game.

In other polls I may have voted for SMG2 but I know Rayman needs as much help as possibly to get through.

I just didn`t enjoy Melee as much as Brawl and Smash 4, so it`s sad to see this is the only one that made it so far.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 perfected the gameplay of Galaxy 1, though I was surprised that it was more of a traditional Mario game, it didn`t use the gravity mechanics as much.

I went with Melee, even though it's not as fun as 4. Still had lots of good times with it.

Also went with Mario 64, which was glorious.

Never played Galaxy 2, but if it's good as the first I would have probably voted for it.

Went with Mario 64. The only Mario game to come close to this one in quality (3D or otherwise) would be 3D Land.

Well, Mario 64 is a sacred cow, so Rayman was competing for one slot. The fact that the other two games in the running had Mario in them made it a rough ride.
