Happy Thanksgiving!

Post by Kong Wen »

Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends! I hope you're all enjoying the holiday in your own way, either spending time with family, eating some good food, or taking advantage of the extra day off.

I'm thankful for having good people like you around. :neon:

Happy thanksigving! I have the day off school today, and today is my longest day so that's nice. I had Friday off too so it's been a super long weekend. My family does the big supper's on Sunday's, so I have plenty of leftovers today!

Should someone outside of Canada wish Canadians a happy thanksgiving?

Also is the holiday pretty similar to the American thanksgiving?

It's perfectly acceptable.

Pretty similar (turkey, family time, etc.) but with different historical origins, and without the associated aspects of commercialism (black Friday, etc.).

Black Friday sounds horrible. Silly commercial "holiday" to try trick people into buying more stuff.
