Lots of good games here, but R&C all the way for me.

Castlevania is one of those series that started out with its best foot forward and thus its strongest game. One of them, anyway, in a series as diverse as this one (the exploraction RPGs have their own strongest game). If we're voting solely on the merits of the original game in the series rather than the series itself, then Castlevania definitely deserves a nod.
