No you're right. Despite not seeming relatively high, in the context of the last 10+ years, 100-point seasons are rare. His previous best was 88 points back in 2009-10.

Our sports radio station paralleled us (the Wild) getting into the playoffs to a large truck backing up with the beeper on. That is about how much momentum we have right now.

They have 2 games left and are down 2-0 after 2. Then they gotta beat Calgary to clinch.

Avs need to beat (or win 2 and OTL 1) Nashville, Dallas and Anaheim which looks to be the harder task than Minnesota losing out.
