USA finishes 7/8 with no wins at the World Cup of Hockey. Lots of analysts are going to read too much into it, but I’m chalking it up to an off year and Tortarella being a shitty coach.

I won't be participating this year. I didn't watch a single game - including playoffs and the finals - last season, and unless Toronto can pull something worth watching this year, it isn't going to change.

A one-team fan can only hold their interest so long when their team can't get their shit together for more than a decade.

We'll play you like Clay and just pick all the leftover Leafs when the rest of us are done choosing.

I always enjoyed seeing how long it took my team to become wildly overwhelmed by the competition.

1. Pick a 5 player team. (Skaters not goalies) who you believe will score a lot of points. At the end of the season I will tally the top 3 players of each team and whoever has the most points wins.

I'll try work out some way of people scoring "points" for getting something right then at the season the person who scores the most points wins. Just go to work some way of doing it so it's not uneven.

Try get your answers in before the season starts but I'll accept anything until 11:59pm Saturdays EST.
