Mt. Laraynu - Go to the top if you haven't yet.

I just freed the dragon spirit at the top of the mountain. It was super cool! The best part was getting to the shrine and the goddess said "Getting here was challenging enough." Easiest "shrine" of the game so far.
Here and there I color my clothes! Currently I'm wearing the hat and shirt that increase your climbing speed, and the attack up pants. I made the shirt green to make it look a bit nostalgic.

I don't know about the shirt, so I won't be reading Shoe's spoiler, but as for the hat:
Spoiler
You'll find it on/in/under another major mountain... perhaps a matching pair of two mountains?

Found the bandana.

I have started warping somewhere when I am gliding high and start falling to my doom. Kind of like the matrix.

So, I bought the guide - collector's edition. Hear me out.

I am not intending to use it as I play, but I am so taken by the beauty of this game, that an entire hardcover book full of its imagery is just amazing to me. I will probably actually use it more once I have finished the game, but I see this more of a coffee table style book in my house.

I just got to the top of that mountain yesterday, a very nice surprise at the top.

I'm now 85+ hours into the game and finished my first dungeon, in the desert. The game is funny in that I'll spent hours upon hours just exploring, so whenever I get to a story section, the voice acting, cut scenes and characters always surprise me. I also finally got the Master Sword today, a fine progress marker of its own.

General dungeon spoils
Spoiler
I've only done the one dungeon so far, but I will say they managed to make it feel very rewarding. Seeing the Divine Beast roaming the desert and causing stress to all the people, and then going through the sequence of entering the beast, then being inside the beast, to then curing the beast was really neat. And the visual indicator of seeing the Divine Beast move from its spot and stare down Hyrule Castle along with getting a new champion skill really makes you feel like you've accomplished something.

How long did it take you nerds before you finally saw a green rupee in the game?

A long time! I was beginning to wonder whether money was a thing, or whether it was going to be entirely loot- & crafting-based!

Officially played the game for 100+ hours! Found 60 shrines and 317 Korok seeds. Still have 6 areas with unlit towers. I also finished my second Divine Beast today, from the Zora's Domain.

It's interesting when you spend a lot of time in one area, and when you finally leave the area, you're reminded of how much there is to this game and how much you've seen. Just spent days over in the desert, feels good to just jump on my horse and run through the green fields again.
