Square Enix F2P Ports (incl. Rise of Mana)

Post by Kong Wen »

Square Enix is apparently set to port two of its mobile free-to-play games over to Vita. Deadman's Cross is a FPS card battler (somehow), and Rise of Mana is an 8-player co-op action RPG in the famous Mana series.

Here's the trailer for the latter:

I'm not too sure how strong the mobile free-to-play market for this kind of game is in North America, especially as ported to a more traditional handheld console. Maybe quite strong? I don't know.

On one hand this (along with porting over every Dragon Quest game) is typical Square Enix. On the other hand, it makes me kind of hope we'll get an improved Vita version of Final Fantasy Dimensions, just like we did for The After Years.

Hey Kong did they ever port rise of mana to the Vita? I can't seem to find it.
Just try these protein powders and you'll love it.

It came to Vita in May 2015, but in Japan only. Not sure if it even got a physical release.
