Still really enjoying the game, much more than I thought I could like a Pokemon game. 50 hours in, I think I'm almost done with the third island. The trials on the third island are neat, sometimes you don't even realize you're in a trial until you're half way through it I finally found a ditto the other day so now I'm mass producing starter Pokemon and Eevee to trade online with.

Re: Official Pokémon Disscussion Thread
I beat the main story a few days ago, took me 80 hours. Like I've said before, I really enjoyed this one. Pokepelago brought me back to the game several times a day to see how my eggs were hatching, pokemon leveling up and what items were found.
I'm just starting to get through the post game right now, lots of legendaries to find. My Pokedex is sitting at 90% right now (271/301) so I'm definitely going for 100% completion. Once I grab the rest of the legendaries I'll just need a few pesky Pokemon that involve trading to evolve, and then there seems to be two Pokemon I haven't encountered at all yet so I'll have to search for them a bit more.

4chan rumour so take it with a grain of salt but I’d would adore a Australian theme. Also a platypus Pokemon YES PLEASE!

As far as starter designs go, I'd be down with this.

I would love to see a Nuzlocke mode in the next pokemon that you can select when starting with a tone of custom options. Also multiple save slots so you can have a normal account and a Nuzlocke account/Speed run account.

Re: Official Pokémon Disscussion Thread
Not what I was expecting, but it seems like a smart way to bridge the gap this year while they continue to work on the mainline game. After this I'm definitely expecting a big change for the 2019 game.
The Lets go games look like they could be fun, the co op multiplayer is pretty exciting. Might even get me back into Go.

Re: Official Pokémon Disscussion Thread
I personally think I'll skip the Let's Go games.
Required motion control, Same awkward graphic style from XY/Sun Moon, No wild pokemon battles are all real negatives for me. No online trading is just mind blowing while I never really used it I see that as a huge negative.
Riding pokemon looks cool especially with eevee on your back. Two player co-op idea is cool and could work well in the new 2019 game. Pokemon appearing in the grass is also a cool edition. Love they're sticking with no HMs they were a huge pain.
Onto waiting for the 2019 game.
