Updated scores again. Any confirmed extra points have been added so anything in brackets is the remaining possible points that could be added.
1st - Slurmee 546 (30 remaining extra points)
2nd - Kreegs 462 (0 remaining extra points)
3rd - Kong Wen 435 (25 remaining extra points)
4th - Kitroplious 427 (20 remaining extra points)
5th - Claytone 333 (25 remaining extra points)
6th - 0 pointer 318 (20 remaining extra points)
Kong, Slurmee and Clay 99% sure they'll be getting a bonus 5 points for Nashville finishing 1st.
Unless Colorado can pull off a miracle stanley cup run it looks like Clay will finish 5th and 0 pointer in 6th.
Kit/Kong are neck and neck and will come down to the stanley cup winner most likely.
Kong could also possibly steal 2nd off Kreegs if Pittsburgh can win the cup and his team has a good end to the year.
Looks like I'm going to finish 1st, Backstrom, Kane, Stone and Voracek need to score 84 points between them in 3 games (Average 7 points a game) just for Kreegs to tie with my current score.
Like I've said before the real battles are between 2nd/3rd, 3rd/4th and 5th/6th

The Sedin brothers are retiring at the end of the season.
Re: Hockey Thread! (NHL etc.)
I forgot they were still playing, tbh. They were star players during a weird kind of dry spell in the NHL between the old guard of heroes aging out and the wave of new young stars that starting coming in Ovie/Malkin/Crosby's generation.

Boston v Tampa Bay tonight could decide who wins the eastern conference.

LETS GO WINNIPEG
Also there's a chance we could see Penguins v Flyers round 1

Re: Hockey Thread! (NHL etc.)
Philly seems to have an easier schedule than NJ going into the last three games of the season, so the Flyers should stay ahead of the Devils. Columbus has an easier game against Detroit, but then they close out against the Penguins and the Predators. So yeah, I can see the Flyers sneaking up into the divisional matchup in the first round.
I also think Boston will probably continue to hold off the Lightning to hang onto the top spot in the East. That would give us:
- Boston vs. Columbus or NJ. Boston should beat either team.
- Tampa vs. Toronto could be a good series if the Leafs can keep their feet on the gas, but I think the Lightning would win.
- Washington vs. Columbus or NJ. Washington would beat Columbus, but I think NJ could give them a run for their money if they're hot.
- Pittsburgh vs. Philadelphia. The Penguins win this one.
- Nashville crushes Colorado.
- Winnipeg crushes Minnesota.
- Vegas crushes Anaheim.
- San Jose vs. Los Angeles. Boring series, but I think the Sharks would win it.

Avs don't have Erik Johnson or Varly they might not make it.Kong Wen wrote: ↑03 Apr 2018 15:58Philly seems to have an easier schedule than NJ going into the last three games of the season, so the Flyers should stay ahead of the Devils. The wildcards in the West are still kind of up for grabs, but I wouldn't be surprised to see St. Louis fail to make up any ground. I'm going to assume things stay the same here.

Re: Hockey Thread! (NHL etc.)
Oh we might also see a Boston v Philly round 1 matchup.
That would be awesome as well.
That would be my ideal matchup.
So far we have
Boston/Tampa v Pittsburgh/Columbus/Jersey/Philly/Florida
Boston/Tampa v Toronto
Washington v Pittsburgh/Columbus/Jersey/Philly/Florida
Pittsburgh/Columbus/Jersey/Philly v Pittsburgh/Columbus/Jersey/Philly
Nashville/Winnipeg v San Jose/Anaheim/LA/Colorado/St Louis/Dallas
Nashville/Winnipeg v Minnesota
Vegas v San Jose/Anaheim/LA/Colorado/St Louis/Dallas
San Jose/Anaheim/LA v San Jose/Anaheim/LA
It should be a lot clearer after tonight.
Nashville can clinch the conference and division.
Pittsburgh can clinch 2nd
Columbus can clinch Top 3
Philly/Jersey/Columbus can clinch playoff spot
Florida can get knocked out
San Jose can clinch top 3
Dallas can be knocked out
That would be awesome as well.

Updated possible outcomes
Boston/Tampa v Columbus/Jersey/Philly/Florida
Boston/Tampa v Toronto
Washington v Pittsburgh/Columbus/Jersey/Philly
Pittsburgh/Columbus/Jersey v Pittsburgh/Columbus/Jersey/Philly
Nashville v Colorado/St Louis
Winnipeg v Minnesota
Vegas v San Jose/Anaheim/LA
San Jose/Anaheim/LA v San Jose/Anaheim/LA
---
Boston Philly seems unlikely now however Pittsburgh Philly is very likely.
Nashville beat Columbus (Regulation or OT or S/O)
Washington beat New Jersey (Regulation or OT or S/O)
Philadelphia beat New York Rangers (Regulation or OT)
This seems very plausible.
