I always get kind of annoyed when big community events like this happen because there's no really good way to keep them highlighted across the forum. We do use the chat well to stay on top of stuff like this, but I wanted to test announcements to keep important info at our fingertips for the duration of the event. Feel free to leave feedback.

So, to this end, we have a global announcement across the forums with the links to the schedule and the stream, as well as a banner at the top of the chat windows with a link to the stream.

Funhaus did a GDS (Games Done Slow) for 24 hours and "raced" the speed runners and made $20k+ in donations that went towards the total. I watched bits of it and it was really funny.

I probably won't have time to watch anything live, but I always like the clips that come out of them. Interested to see if there's another breath of the wild run.

SMB3 run was really fun to watch I recommend people watch it.
Spoiler
It was a race between Mitch and Poo and Poo somehow crashed Mitches NES so he waited for Mitch to catch up before racing again to be a good sport. On the final level Poo died before reaching bowser and threw his controller which crashed Mitch’s game again when he was seconds away from beating the game. The 2 guys were generally really fun as well.
