MerlinDrazziw wrote:As for the digital version, today a new update (at least on iOS) was available with Promo Pack 5. It contains Portal and related cards that's a digital only release. A Portal card can be used for runes and will 'summon' a random card from any Ascension pack that will be added to your deck. If I'm correct, the random card is of equal or higher rune cost.
This update was also for the other digital versions. Steam also got DoC.

@Vic: give it enough days! Busy time of the year ;)

Like I said in chat, Enlightened and Mechana are the better champs. But it all depends on the center cards. It also helps if you can clear the opponents faction cards from the center. Getting 8 champ. points fast isn't always good, other DoC games usually finish without the 8 points.

Dreamscape was released for digital Ascension! It also got an update shortly after release, as there was a bug with some dreamscape drawing cards.

Asmodee released an update for digital Ascension:
- new deck: Gift of the Elements
- new UI beta tested on Steam

The new UI graphics are ok, but the layout sucks. It gets worse on small screens.

Promo Pack 6 was released a short while ago. Got some cards in it with rewards for playing cards you start with.

Also, StoneBlade moved (part of) the Ascension forum to BGG where the digital tournaments will be organized.

@MerlinDrazziw - A card game called Hardback I've been eyeing for months now is available digitally. This is the second game in this series from Fowers Games (the earlier release was called Paperback), and it's a deckbuilder cum word game - and it's excellent.

No monsters, characters, etc. Just pure spelling action with a traditional deckbuilding mechanic. Cross-platform online play too! $6.50 and worth every penny, though watch for sales otherwise.
