Best Mech Customization (Round One)

Submitted by Kong Wen, this poll asks what game has the best mech customization! Any genre, any era, as long as you're customizing some mechs.

I wasn't kidding when I said I submitted this category solely to get suggestions and ideas for mech games to play. :lol: That also means I don't have much experience with the games in this list.

I've heard amazing things about xenogear is it likely that will win here? Lots of titles I've never heard of I think I'll be like kong and use this as a way to better understand the genre

Xenogears is an ambitious RPG with good mechanics and an absolute steaming turd of a plot. Since it's only being judged on the merits of its mech customization in this category, it might do well. It came out around the same time as Front Mission 3, which has a bye into a higher round and is a better overall game. Heck, they both came out at a time when we were rolling in great RPGs, so even the middling ones look good in the rear-view mirror.

Oh there's even more games yet to be shown I guess that lowers its chance.
