Here's the side-event for the improved third-generation!

This is a much better batch of starters than Gen 2, IMO.

Going by their starting form alone, I have no choice but to pick Torchic, who is impossibly cute. She's literally just a chick! The evolved forms are slightly more terrifying.

Although Torchic is cute, it's final form is terrifying, and is a little uninteresting in that it's a fire/fighting type.

Mudkip is always cute, and I like it's evolved form.

Fausto the Mudkip was my first Pokémon ever. Will always be my absolute favourite.

Mudkip and Treecko are great spectile is cool and so is marshstomp. I went with Mudkip as its a little cuter then Treecko

Torchic because Blaziken is an absolute beast
