Voted for Planescape: Torment. I'm a huge Baldur's Gate fan, and I believe PS:T uses the same engine. Haven't played it, perhaps obviously, but it's something I definitely should.

Here we go. I nominated all three of the finalists that I haven't played yet. I think I'm going to have to go have to go purist and vote for Panzer Dragoon Saga here—not only have I never played it, but I'm not likely to ever get the chance or have an easy opportunity to play it. A lifetime gaming tragedy.

I'll have to think on it a bit, but a few of the games here are early 3D era RPG's, which I feel confident saying likely don't hold up as well today.

Ignoring God of War and Dark Souls, it comes down to Castlevania and Chrono Trigger for me. Chrono might suffer from old school RPG syndrome, but it's also quite unique. Castlevania is a genre I know I'd like, and it's often heralded as the best of the genre.
