Main Event - Round Five Tie-Breakers

Like the previous round, Round Five of the Main Event has led to a tie-breaker. There are 3 polls of 2-3 games each.

You can vote for 1 game per poll, or skip a poll entirely.
The top game from each poll will take its place at the bottom ranks of Round Six.

Easy tie-breakers for me:

1. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - I'm not a huge fan of the series, but this game is the pinnacle of the franchise, so it would be a shame to see it defeated by Another 3D Collectathon and a second Smash-up.

2. StarCraft - Majora's Mask is one of the better second-tier Zelda games (it's not an absolutely essential genre-defining masterpiece, but it's a good one among the rest). StarCraft, on the other hand, is one of those genre-defining masterpieces.

3. Mega Man 2 - Undertale is a good game. Mega Man 2 is an almost perfect game (almost—the only complaint I have with it is that the weapon balance is a bit off (hello Metal Blades)). Anyway, Mega Man 2 is overall one of the best action platformers of all time. Great pace (fast but not twitchy), good arsenal of ways to approach a stage, and big/colourful enemies and areas. Clear winner here. Hopefully MM2 gets all the Celeste runoff votes.

1. Melee - Sonic 2 is one of my favorite games ever, but I have to give the nod to Melee. It's sublime in a way the series never will be again. Or at least not as long as it's directed by Mr. Sakurai.

3. Mega Man 2 - Haven't played Undertale, but I can't imagine it unseating MM2. Very comfortable vote here.

Sonic 2 - awesome fun and, unexpectedly managed to introduce two player co-op in a fast paced game. And it worked so well. Had a blast playing this with my sister back in the day. Still boot it occasionally to go through it again.

Sonic 2 has great music, really don't care for the gameplay.

I feel like I've already voted for Smash Ultimate, so voting for melee just feels like voting for the lesser version. I might lean toward Banjo.
