Sega has had third parties making toybox consoles for them for decades now, but this is the first one they're putting a nice polish on in the new post-NES-Mini era. They have the success of the NES and SNES minis and the failure of the PS1 mini as guideposts for their product, and it looks like they're navigating it pretty well so far.

The latest announcements for the console include Mega Man: The Wily Wars and Street Fighter II': Special Champion Edition.

It won't be long after release before someone drops illegal ROMs on this machine to play every Genesis game in the library...

I’ve had this preordered for a few weeks now. Castle of Illusion and World of Illusion were a nice surprise.

For the final 10, hoping that Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Mortal Kombat and Pulseman make the list. And just for fun, but really doubt it because of a major corporate giant reason: McDonald’s Treasure Land Adventure.

If they announce Pulseman for this, I am instantly ordering it.

Sadly, Pulseman is nowhere to be found.

Sega announced the final 12 games on the system, bringing the total up to 42.

The final batch includes Alisia Dragoon, Tetris, Darius, and Monster World 4.

It's not a perfect list, but I commend Sega on their commitment to including some weird outlier games on this little thing.
