2020 Game Clear Thread

Crash Bandicoot 3 was what I expected same as 1 and 2. Which is good. Some of the time trials have really put me off ever trying to 100% the game though.

LittleBigPlanet 3 only played Adventure mode (story) but it was really fun. I haven't played 2 yet but playing as different characters (assuming that's a new feature) is really cool and the story was funny enough to be interesting. Started slow though. One complaint though is the way they show collectibles is really annoying it's really hard to see what levels you still need to collect stuff from and which you don't. Also locking stuff behind 2 player without saying so on the level button is annoying too since I only have 1 controller.

Regardless I recommend both games really fun platformers.

LBP3 I was let down with a bit compared to the previous games. The hub world I found to be really messy and hard to traverse. I liked the overall journey better in the first two games, especially the music.

Second consecutive beaten game on a newly purchased handheld. I've always enjoyed Puzzle Bobble, but I never knew how much. Really enjoy solving the designed puzzles. Might have to check out some other games in the series, although it seems Taito/Squeenix have left it mostly dormant lately.

It was so long since I played the original so it's hard to compare. I did played the Vita version early 2019 and I did enjoy that version more.

This product of Canada was as charming as ever. In particular, I really enjoyed how expressive Luigi is in this game. I'm not sure series has ever been better than its first entry, but this is still a worthy one. Glad this unlikely direction for little brother has turned into a rightful franchise.

Glad I finally gave this an honest go. I gotta admit that I kind of liked it! I expected it to be terrible, but it's definitely got some charm. I'm considering going for the platinum, easily the dumbest platinum I'll ever get if I do.

Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed
This game is a tonne of fun and quiet difficult too. I considered this beaten since I hit the credits after finishing the world tour career mode. The game at times can feel unfair but you could say the same about Mario Kart. Honestly I loved this game far more than Mario Kart which surprised me.

When this was first announced, it instantly became my most anticipated AAA PlayStation title. Despite that, it somehow took me a year and a half to finally play it. Glad I did! It was every bit as good as I hoped it would be. I think its combat system might even edge out Arkham's, which is high praise! Here's hoping the rumors are true and the sequel is an early PS5 title. A perk of waiting to play the first one is I won't have to wait as long on the second.
