This is more my speed. Thumbs up.
Re: Hockey Thread! (NHL etc.)
Alright, so here's how I think it should work.
Draft
We'll randomize the draft order and then when we can organize a time to be here at the same time, we'll pick our players. Each player can only belong to one of us (otherwise we'd all have very similar teams!). We'll pick in the traditional 1-2-3-4-5-6-6-5-4-3-2-1- order. We'll each pick 10 active players and 7 reserve players as backups.
Rules
Our overall points will be the total points (goals + assists) of our 10 active players. There are two ways to gain access to your reserve players. When one of your active players misses his 20th game (for whatever reason), you have one calendar week (7 days) to replace him with one of your reserves. On January 1st, you'll be able to make 2 substitutions, regardless of games played. Once a reserve player has been brought up, you can't send him back down again unless he misses 20 games or you use one of your New Years substitutions.
This system gives us a little bit of flexibility to work with our rosters in case we end up with some real busts, but doesn't require us to keep meddling with picks every day/week.
This is the link to the spreadsheet where the scores will be tallied.

That's the main thing we need to decide now.Kreegs wrote:What time is this draft?
You know, there's no reason we even need to do it live, although that would be way faster. We could always make our picks in order via group-PM.

Regarding time. I'm pretty flexible as long as it's reasonable hours for AEST

Pretty sure I'm free for all of Sunday, so count me in if it works for everyone else.

Re: Hockey Thread! (NHL etc.)
I have a two hour break at least on Saturday/Sunday, starting at 3:00pm Pacific Time before dinner shift at LC (7:00 your time, I think... or close).
Otherwise, maybe a 6am/7am PT draft... if I can wake up!
