This bracket's pretty loaded. I went with Super Street Fighter II, which is the last one I spent any good amount of time on, Golden Axe III, and Viewtiful Joe 2 on PS2.

Love Super Punch-Out for its Time Attack mode. I think I got everyone down to under a minute on the Wii Virtual Console version. I also voted for Super Street Fighter 4 and Mortal Kombat Trilogy. I figured DKC2 didn't need my help, since it's gonna come out on top here.

Winning the bracket means nothing we are basically seeding games at this point. Everything is going to make it past round 1.
Basivally DKC2 is really competing with the big name games for a better seeding spot right now not really competing with the current bracket it's in.

To be fair, maybe he wants to ensure other games get a decent boost in the next round, knowing that DKC will do well enough for him anyway.

Ghosts'n Goblins is the best game in this poll by a mile for my money. Cheapness be damned, I have a great fondness for that series. Some of the best opening stage theme music too.
Meanwhile, DKC2 is one of the most overrated games I can think of. It's good but not great. Never understood the general opinion that it's an all-time SNES classic. Platforming in the SNES DKC games just doesn't feel very good. Fortunately, Retro did an admirable job with their games. Love those.
Mortal Kombat Trilogy gets my 2 vote almost entirely because of a single night spent playing it with a late friend of mine. He bought it on clearance from Blockbuster before a sleepover one weekend, and we spent all weekend playing it. It was maybe my earliest exposure to MK? If not, it was close. Not sure I've played Trilogy specifically since, but it was a key entry to drawing me into one of my favorite series.
Gave my last vote to Super Punch-Out!!. It doesn't feel quite as good as the NES original or the fantastic Wii game, but it's still Punch-Out!!. That's worth something to me.
