Each game is randomly seeded into pools using the sequence generator at Random.org. There's no seeding, no ranking, and no preference or prioritization.
The results of the pools will determine how each game stacks up in the elimination rounds, coming... realistically in early 2021.
HOW TO VOTE
Voting is ranked, but it's not super intuitive, so listen up.
You have 6 total votes to distribute.
You can only select up to 3 options.
You can only give each option up to 3 votes.
NOTE: The number you pick is not the RANK of your choice (i.e. 1st, 2nd, 3rd), but the number of VOTES you're giving it.
The more votes (bigger numbers) a game gets, the better for that game.
EXAMPLES
You could pick three games and order them by giving them 3, 2, and 1 votes.
If you like three games equally, you could give them 2, 2, and 2 votes.
If you only like two games, you could give them 3 and 3 votes (or 3 and 2, etc.).
This gives you a lot of granularity for how you assign your votes and thereby a lot of influence over which games can do well. Use your power wisely!
I never thought I would feel this way, but now I know. Now I know. I never thought I would see things as I see them now, but now I know. I never thought I would hurt so bad, but now I know. Now I know.
LittleBigPlanet (3)
While it's not as good as the original it's a fantastic handheld game and the first lbp game I ever played. Its a series I really enjoy.
Child of Eden (3)
I legit thought this was a child of light. I've never played child of Eden so mistake vote. (if someone can edit my vote out feel free to since I know nothing about this gane)

Don't worry, Child of Eden is way better than Child of Light.
I gave plenty of votes to Animal Crossing here, and passed on the rest. Still, I'm glad to see others have voted for the games that were on the fringes of my consideration (the ancient Intellivision AD&D game from 1983, Psycho Fox, and Child of Eden).

I remember enjoying Dream Team, so I gave it a vote, though I am in no rush to replay it. Animal Crossing got most my votes here, though I think it's premature to really call it "Best Game Ever", since it still has almost a years' worth of updates ahead, at minimum.

I'm not sure if I'd like Eden was better than light though.
