Post #3 (or my opening post) has consistently been updated. Literally there have been a lot of repurchased games this year, including Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Pokémon Shield and Pokémon Sword content, which I was surprised The Pokémon Company/Nintendo announced that there would be a physical version of the games preloaded with the expansion pass. So that pass was something I regret getting on its own.

There were some new games and some that came from the failed Wii U console. As for this year, it’s pretty much finalized with the exception of some CERO imports that I ordered from PlayAsia: Yo-Kai Watch 1 (HD version from the original Nintendo 3DS game) and Yo-Kai Watch 4++. It’s just I have to play the waiting game with international mail...

Spent a little more than a year before. Not all on Switch, but most of it.

Wish there was a feature on the Switch to make local backups on an external HD connected to the docking station. Would probably download/buy more games if I could easily make room on the SD card and not have to redownload the big games.

2020

Jan. $130
Feb. $75
Mar. $0
April. $10
May. $90
June. $55
July. $90
Aug. $12
Sep. $81
Oct. $26
Nov. $760
Dec. $26
2020 Total: $1330

So, if you subtract the price of my new Xbox, I actually would have spent about the same amount on games this year as I did last year. Funny looking at my comments from last year where I wasn't expecting to buy next gen, but I was also expecting to buy more full priced games this year. Looks like I only bought 3 full priced games which is actually not too bad.

As for next year, what i spend on games really depends on if a Switch Pro is released. I think I'll grab a PS5 but I have $500 in credit so it won't break the bank.

COVID made me not interested in keeping track of this. I doubt I'll resume in 21.
