I couldn't stop, so I peeked into the Mirror Temple and picked up 9 more strawbs for another trophy. This stage looks like it's more my style with some puzzly platforming in the mix.

ALRIGHT, I finished Chapter 4 (Golden Ridge), the wind-gimmick level, after coming back to the game after a loooong break. I got 24/29 strawberries on that one, and I didn't see any others, so there were clearly some hidden passages I missed. I'll get back to that later.

You're more dedicated than I! I got many strawberries, but I made no special effort to collect them all. Probably never will.

I still gotta do that epilogue though.

Well, for my first playthrough, if I see a strawb or an obvious secret passage, I must get it before carrying on. But I'm not ducking back in to scour stages for whatever I missed until later.

Exactly what I did and am doing. Got some more strawberries, but am still missing a lot of them. Some seem uncatchable, so I only try a few times before moving on. When I'm done with the B-sides I'll try ch. 8 again.

After playing some B-sides I received enough items to enter the core (ch. 8) .. finished it already (due to my very easy settings) and started ch. 9. Now need more items to continue, wonder where I'll find them ...

I beat Abzû! It’s a pretty good game. I think I’ll play through it thoroughly this time to see if I can get the collectibles trophies. I may have to resort to an faq after that if I’m still missing anything.

Nice, congrats! Certainly no shame in going to a guide after you've already put in the time to scour a game twice!

One of the things I don’t like about the game is the lack of tracking for most collectibles. Makes it tough to determine what’s missing.

I’ve played through Abzu three times now and can’t find any more missing collectibles than I’ve found. I think I’ll try a fourth time rather than looking it up just yet...

That's dedication! I'd definitely be looking it up at that point, because I feel like there must be something that's hidden in a really cheap/esoteric place.

I finished the Mirror Temple in Celeste last night and I think I'm only missing 4 strawbs from the later checkpoints. I think this means I only have two chapters left to beat the game, and then of course I'm going to scour it.
