Alright, I've gone back through the first three worlds of Celeste now and scoured them left & right, up & down, front & back, netting all their strawbs, B-sides, and hearts. Moving on to the golden ridge again, which is a zone I recall not enjoying.

Even if I collect everything, I doubt I'll have the patience to do all the B-sides at my advanced age.

I booted up Strider on Hard Mode (I don't know what the difference between the difficulty modes is) and got past the first armoured dragon fight. I doubt I'll plough all the way through this game by the 4th, but I'll probably chip away at it while focusing on other things this year.

Just finished Monster Boy! Took me 21 hours and I finished with 95% completion. The game had a bit of a slow start but I really came to love it. Some annoying finicky physics puzzles near the end that weren't ideal but didn't sour the experience. I liked the game so much I almost went for completion! There are a few chests left over that won't really benefit me in any way at this point, so I opted to leave them.

Thanks for getting me to dust off Abzu, Kong. I am enjoying it but still haven’t used the internet to find anything. I’m convinced I can find most of what I lack just the old fashioned way. I’m missing four trophies. I should be able to get a couple of those without help, I’d think. That’s the plan! It reminds me a bit of Journey and in a good way.
