Woah Dave!

Choice Provisions announced today via the PS Blog that Woah Dave! will be coming to PS4 and Vita "very soon". Choice Provisions were known as Gaijin Games until they rebranded earlier in 2014. They're the studio responsible for the acclaimed Bit.Trip series of retro-styled games in many genres (mostly recently Runner2).

Woah Dave! looks like another crazy genre throwback, this time to classic '80s arcade style games, complete with colourful graphics and faux cabinet art.

The game also has local multiplayer on PS4, with both players acting simultaneously on the screen to compete for coins.

Yeah, I've caught gameplay clips before and it looks delicious. The logo, however, is new to me and it is AWESOME!

Hopefully Whoa Dave! is still coming to Nintendo 3DS... I'll be over that one!

But hearing that [regarding 3DS]... it may be cancelled.

Whoa Dave is definitely still coming to 3DS, Kit. Don't worry about that!

I'm actually obsessing over this game in a pretty major way. The lack of a release date is killing me, and I had a freaking Whoa Dave! dream on the weekend. WANT NOW!!
