Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round Lower Bracket!
Each game in the lower bracket is still seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools! Every game in the lower bracket has already been defeated by another game in a 1-on-1 poll to get to this point. This is their chance to claw their way back into the main event... but the stakes are high. The games that lose in these polls are out of the tournament for good! The games that survive will face the next crop of upper bracket losers in the next round.
Polls are updated weekly, typically on Saturday... or Sunday or Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!
HOW TO VOTE
This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!

Re: Bottom 1024 — Week 19 — Poll 2
This is going to be one of the ones I suspect is rough in terms of results, largely because of Fire Emblem's brand recognition... but that's part of the problem in this poll. Awakening is one of the entries that really brought the series to a larger audience, in part because it was the start of the series kind of turning into a waifu/dating simulation. Unfortunately that has resulted in a string of weaker but more popular games.
Alien Hominid came out at a time when it was a breath of fresh air, a fun, dynamic, fast-paced, cartoony run & gun throwback—bright & crisp! It was on the early crest of the wave of indie games that showed us creative stuff could be done with old genres, and helped usher in the big names like Super Meat Boy a few years later. It's also the debut game by The Behemoth, who later gained fame for Castle Crashers and also developed Battleblock Theatre and Pit People.
I give Alien Hominid the vote here for being the start of something fresh, and being a good game. My Fire Emblem votes will be reserved for better entries.
