Each game is seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools. Every game in the Upper Bracket has defeated multiple other games in 1-on-1 polls to get to this point. These are still the best of the best.
Polls are updated weekly, typically on Sunday or Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!
HOW TO VOTE
This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!
Voting for DQIX despite not having played it yet on the grounds that DQ has not missed for me yet and DKC is one of the most overrated series in VG history.

Jokes aside I don't think the DKC series is that over the top well loved for it to be considered overrated. We haven't really had a new game in close to a decade and before Returns there was another 10~ year gap too.
That being said DKC2 is one of my favorite DKC games it's super polished. That being said I've heard great things about DQIX as well.
DKC is a source of hot takes in here this week lol! I have a lot of opinions on it too. Closer to when it came out, it did get a lot of IMO unwarranted praise as the second coming of Platformer Jesus with its photo-realistic graphics etc. I was personally never a fan of how it played—the character's flow feels awkward to me, don't like barrels, etc. All that said, I prefer the first entry over the sequel, so DKC2 won't be getting cheap love from me in a poll like this. We'll see where it falls in the lower bracket.
