Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round Lower Bracket!
Each game in the lower bracket is still seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools! Every game in the lower bracket has already been defeated by another game in a 1-on-1 poll to get to this point. This is their chance to claw their way back into the main event... but the stakes are high. The games that lose in these polls are out of the tournament for good! The games that survive will face the next crop of upper bracket losers in the next round.
Polls are updated weekly, typically on Saturday... or Sunday or Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!
HOW TO VOTE
This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!
Dwarf Fortress has finally gotten a Steam release (and all the fresh attention to which that sort of thing leads) and is finally enjoying a bit of time in the more mainstream public consciousness. I really hope it doesn't get eliminated here by a screenshot simulator that has an expensive brand in the title.

Even though I have never actually played Dwarf Fortress, I've had more fun in five minutes of reading stories about Dwarf Fortress than I had in the half-hour I tried Pokemon Snap.
I feel like there's potential for a decent game in there (the Switch version does seem better), but it's not in this one.
Really been meaning to try Dwarf Fortress and probably finally will with its recent Steam release. I tried the old version ages ago but didn't quite get it, but I think this (slightly) more accessible version may be a good way in. It's a game that I think has some things that could really work for me, but I need to give it an honest eval.
Anyway, regardless of what I ultimately think of it, I agree Pokémon Snap needs to go. I enjoyed it as a small child, but I don't think it has much to offer beyond that.
Even if you haven't played enough DF to truly appreciate what is going on, I think its pure ambition and scale and scope (and frankly, now, longevity) give it an easy tip in an easy bracket. We have several weeks to get some more play time under our belts before we see who it squares up against in the top 256
