Epica - Sancta Terra
I've known about Epica for a long time but never looked them up.
Probably will listen to more Epica from now on.
Might as well add a full concert of Within Temptation that I'm listening now:
Intro is good, hope the rest is good as well.

Re: What are You Listening to Right Now?
I always work from home and listen to music but was on a soundtrack binge today so thought I’d share my playlist:
The Crow
Apocalypse Now
Alien
Lost Highway
Scott Pilgrim vs the World
I may continue these tomorrow as I have more soundtracks…

I never thought I would feel this way, but now I know. Now I know. I never thought I would see things as I see them now, but now I know. I never thought I would hurt so bad, but now I know. Now I know.
Re: What are You Listening to Right Now?
Continued today with the following:
First Blood
Lethal Weapon
Purple Rain
Pulp Fiction
Obscured by Clouds
More

Did you get a chance to check out Lizard and/or Poseidon yet? Am listening to the former today which made me think of asking. If you have, what did you think?MerlinDrazziw wrote: ↑30 Dec 2022 20:06Red and Larks. Will check the two you mentioned as similar.Sharecrow wrote: ↑30 Dec 2022 17:19 There’s a lot of variety in their catalog. Which other two did you check out?
Poseidon and Lizard are most similar to their first album.
Red, Starless and Bible Black, and Larks’ Tongues in Aspic (the three with John Wetton on bass and vocals) are really good too. The Adrian Belew stuff has to grow on you…
Not trying to rush you I’m just asking because I’m a huge overall fan and like to hear what others think of their work.

Ok, now I've listened to both of them on youtube .. they're both closer to the first album (literally also) then Red and Larks.Sharecrow wrote: ↑05 Jul 2023 17:04 Did you get a chance to check out Lizard and/or Poseidon yet? Maybe it's because of youtube, but the singing on Lizard was quite soft (unhearable), that makes me like Poseidon more.

Listening to an 80's synth duo PERU after looking up another song.
That other song is a shorter version of the one below.

Listening to more synthesizer music it was unavoidable to stumble upon Kitaro. Glad I did as I've been listening to the latest videos on (t)his channel.

Listening to S P A R K S a.t.m.
When I was waiting in line for the dress rehearsal of a Ayreon concert last week I met someone who was a huge fan of Sparks, so I checked them out this week. Can't say I've heard them before, but they've been around for over 50 years (from 1966).
It's some odd music but I kind of like it.
Just to repeat the vid I posted a link to in the chat for KW:
