Each game is seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools. Every game in the Upper Bracket has defeated multiple other games in 1-on-1 polls to get to this point. These are still the best of the best.
Polls are updated weekly, typically on Sunday or Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!
HOW TO VOTE
This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!
Controversial vote here. Disco Elysium is one of the strongest translations of a true RPG to the digital format. Super Mario 3 loses a couple "wiggle room" points by virtue of the fact that Super Mario World is a more perfect extension of what SMB3 was doing.

Yes, it was the Project winner in 2015. Great games randomly running into fierce matchups and settling at lower ranks has been a defining characteristic of this contest for a decade, with many of the best games of all time being knocked out early by significantly worse Nintendo-branded games. So it's part of what makes the contest interesting.
One of the innovations of this iteration of the Project, though, means that even if SMB3 were to lose here, it wouldn't necessarily miss the top 128. In fact it would be unlikely. There's another route into the top 128.

I feel better about backing the colossus of SMG since I get to go for Disco Elysium here and hopefully topple SMB 3. No offense to the latter - it's a great game, but depending on how you look at it, it's either the progenitor of SM World, or the earlier, less-polished version of it. And Disco Elysium is actually making me rethink my words about SMG and imagination - if the polls were reversed, DE vs SMG and Hades vs SMB 3, I'd probably vote against both Mario games. Alas.
