Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round of 256!

Each game is seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools. Every game in the Upper Bracket has defeated multiple other games in 1-on-1 polls to get to this point. These are still the best of the best.

Polls are updated weekly, typically on Sunday or Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!

HOW TO VOTE

This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!

I think 3D World is good as hell, but I won't be mad at Faxanadu wins this one. In fact, I feel a little bad voting against it since I haven't played it. On the list, though, so maybe I can get around to it before the next BGE!!!

I think you'd actually like it! It's got a Classicvania feel but with RPG elements and a completely bonkers design sensibility. That said, given your preferences, it's hard for me to guess whether you'd rank it close to 3D World. You might just find it a fun curiosity.

I like Faxanadu, but Mario 3D World is a great multiplayer game. Especially coming off of the NSMB series, where multiplayer made the game harder.

Faxanadu is an interesting bleak trek through a dying world, but many encounters feel somewhat unfair and its lack of an actual save system hurts it. It doesn't feel great to vote against it, but 3D world is the winner for me.
