Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round of 256!
Each game is seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools. Every game in the Upper Bracket has defeated multiple other games in 1-on-1 polls to get to this point. These are still the best of the best.
Polls are updated weekly, typically on Sunday or Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!
HOW TO VOTE
This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!

Re: Top 256 — Week 3 — Poll 13
Phantom Hourglass was my first Zelda game and I believe I'm in the minority that loved the controls.
Smash on the other hand is a series I can never get into and find so boring.

I also am not the biggest fan of Smash, but my personal preferences don't guide all of my voting. As the "Ultimate" Smash, SSBU is a great almost archival repository of Nintendo lore, compiled in almost as chaotic a fashion as the gameplay. To the extent that—similar to Mario Kart 8++—I'm not sure where they can take the series from here. Maybe it should live up to its name and be the final entry in the series.
