Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round Lower Bracket!
Each game in the lower bracket is still seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools! Every game in the lower bracket has already been defeated by another game in a 1-on-1 poll to get to this point. This is their chance to claw their way back into the main event... but the stakes are high. The games that lose in these polls are out of the tournament for good! The games that survive will face the next crop of upper bracket losers in the next round.
Polls are updated weekly, typically on Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!
HOW TO VOTE
This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!

Re: BOTTOM 512 — Week 1 — Poll 15
Now we're talking. RTK3 is one of the stronger entries, with nice stylized isometric battle maps, and great rich-sounding 16-bit Koei music.

Re: BOTTOM 512 — Week 1 — Poll 15
I always enjoyed the ways in which RTK3's custom character system limited you - IIRC (it's been a minute), rulers had a point allocation system while officers were randomly generated from templates. You could get a really good roll, but it was impossible to have a custom character really outstanding in all attributes. And a custom ruler was limited to 3 custom starting generals (perfect balance, vs RTK2's "ruler and 1 officer" craziness).
I'm really surprised they haven't remastered/rereleased these older entries over and over. Playing Chaos Galaxy made me realize the systems involved in these games are still pretty solid (and where they're not, it would just take a few tweaks to things to make them much better). I know Koei did a refresh on PC at some point in the late 90s / early 00's with some of the games (Bandit Kings and Gemfire, at least, and man I regret not picking those versions up when I saw them). Maybe they are rereleasing them and we're just not getting them here.
