Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round of 128!
Each game is seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools. Every game in the Upper Bracket has defeated multiple other games in 1-on-1 polls to get to this point. These are still the best of the best.
Polls are updated weekly, typically on Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!
HOW TO VOTE
This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!

Re: TOP 128 — Week 6 — Poll 2
Baldur's Gate was the first game that solved translating D&D into a new genre of video games. Where previously they had been dungeon-crawlers, turn-based grid games, or the occasional brawler/platformer (hello Mystara and NES D&D), Baldur's Gate brought us into an isometric, real-time with pause world where you could freely command your units then comfortably issue orders. This gave a more open sense of exploration, allowed for some big narrative moves, and let you see your whole party in action. Nice feeling. Obviously this spawned a huge succession of great games including Planescape: Torment, Divinity, Dragon Age, and the 2023 GotY Baldur's Gate 3.
